Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Lewmar Aluminum LFX Fluke Anchor. Now, this aluminum fluke anchor is going to let you drop anchor in different conditions. This is gonna hold really great in sand and mud conditions, and this is gonna be great for both from 31 to 50 feet long. So giving you some overall measurements here, let's begin with the width.
So at the widest point, we're sitting pretty close to 24 inches wide. And just end-to-end, the overall depth, we're sitting a little over 30 inches, maybe about 31.5 inches or so. And then looking at just the length of the fluke here, a little over 17 inches, right up to that dowel, or that post there. So hopefully that gives you a good idea of the size. This weighs about 10 pounds, and so you're gonna be able to adjust the shank and the fluke angles for different conditions.
This is gonna give you ample fluke surface area for holding your boat steady. (anchor clacking) And this is going to give you more holding power than steel fluke anchors of the same weight. And then this is all gonna come apart for easy storage, whether it's in your locker, or something like that, so you're gonna be able to easily store this when necessary. This will attach to your anchor road, and to the integrated eye there. And this is made of anodized aluminum, (anchor clacking) so it's gonna do a great job of protecting against corrosion.
So it's relatively lightweight, but yet very strong and durable, and it's going to hold up really well against the conditions and the elements that it's going to be constantly exposed to. We do have other sizes of anchors from Lumar, as well as different materials it's constructed from, like galvanized steel. Again, this is gonna be aluminum.
