I have a Can Am Defender and the actual hitch is up under the back end so when I hooked up a trailer, I couldn't raise or lower the trailer without the crank handle hitting the tail gate, now I have plenty clearance and I love it.

As you can see from the photo the hitch extender is perfect for my Polaris Ranger and allows me to use my small lawn n yard implements. I highly recommend etrailer.

I use the extender on my bike rack so I can access my tailgate and truck bed with the rack on. It does what it supposed to do and looks barely used although I travel to trails twice a week.

Good quality, heavy duty took a couple extra days to get here otherwise great product
