Kat's Heaters Custom Engine Block Heater - Frost Plug Style - 120V - 400 Watts - 3/4" NPT
Product was great, came as described. Easy to install. Cord was longer than original so it didn't need an extension , so that was perfect.
excellent for farm tractors; use on perkins diesels ,and simpson diesels; just installed and is working fine! a good one should last 20 years; the one I replaced (for a tractor from a tractor supply house lasted less than 2 YEARS, the one before had gone the 20 years) your block heater has a heavy duty cord and the threaded cuff lock down nut on the sender was an all time first for me, thanks. To use this kit 11409 your must already have the block bushing or the bushing for a block heater for this kit will be # 11461b and about $7.00. Noticed your were in SPRINGFIELD TN; I farm in Tn and Ky. good for you. thanks again. TERRY FITZPATRICK, Austin, Ky

Kat's Heaters Custom Fit Engine Block Heater - Cartridge Style - 120V - 400 Watts
Install was a little tricky given the location for my vehicle 2012 F150. But other than that pretty straight forward. Packaging was good and product seems well put together. Only time will tell if it works well. I'm not in the cold climate yet. It also does come with the 3 prong as advertised.
Product is fine but, the installation instructions are terrible. Even contacting the manufacturer for the mounting instructions, terrible. Found the mounting place on YouTube. What's up with this?

Kat's Heaters Custom Fit Engine Block Heater - Cartridge Style - 120V - 400 Watts
2014 Dodge Ram 5.7L uses Kat’s 11816 cartridge heater. Perfect fit. Must remove the two starter bolts and slide it out of the way. Don’t disconnect starter wires. Just slide starter out of the way. Easily done with truck on ramps. Clean out hole. Find a correct size retaining screw. Not sure what size or If hole is threaded. Too much rust. Just be able to jam some screw in there to retain the cartridge, until silicone dries. Smear about an inch wide layer of high temp silicone around the base of the cartridge. Insert cartridge, twist back and forth to spread silicone, and hold in place with retaining screw. Route wire straight forward. I used 1 1/8” spade bit to drill a hole in black plastic in bumper, but my bumper was already messed up, so I didn’t care much. Plug hangs out grill about 3”. Use zip ties to secure cord to square tubing frame post inside bumper.
I have a 2014 Ram 1500 with the 5.7 hemi. The heater element was easy to install. It took a while to find the hole in the engine block (behind the starter motor) but it was a perfect fit. The engine oil is warm enough in a couple of hours for easy starting in cold weather.

Kat's Heaters Custom Fit Engine Block Heater - Cartridge Style - 120V - 400 Watts
DO NOT BUY for an early 2nd generation Tacoma (~2005-2011). Fitment and product quality are horrific. As other reviewers have mentioned for these specific vehicles, you have to grind down a side of the metal, removing approx 3/100s of an inch. Annoying, but not a huge deal. After clearancing, the heater cartridge fits right into the designated hole in the block. The bigger issue is that the electrical plug slips right out of the end of the cartridge if you so much as blow on it. The clip designed to hold it all together and secure it into the truck is worthless- it is prone to popping right off of the orange section where it attaches and/or slipping off of its "notch" on the truck. All the bending/adjusting in the world could not make it work. Significant potential fire hazard if the orange plug slips off the cartridge and you plug it into 120V power without realizing this. Extremely disappointed.

Kat's Heaters Ether Start Fluid Injection System - 1.6L to 4.9L Engine - 12V - Push Button
Great product. Good quality I can rely on. Needed installation instructions and should’ve came with Teflon.
Have not installed yet, but looks well designed and should work as advertised. This will be replacing a factory injection system on an old IH D260 tractor. I have been able to order and receive overnight a bottle of ether from NAPA.

Rampage Radiant Backseat Heater - 300 Watt - 12 Volt
Good tool! Keeps me warm
This heater is being used to supplement an existing heater in a van. I like that it was very easy to install. I also like the physical size of the heater. After using it throughout some cold days in November I felt that it might be best suited for a very small enclosed space, like the size of a tractor cab in temperatures that don't go below 45F. I wouldn't recommend it for an area larger than 300 cubic feet. I can barely feel the heat emitting from the unit when my hand is 6 inches directly in front of it. I went into the purchase with fairly low expectations so I'm glad that I didn't spend more than $[XX] to purchase this heater.
