We didn't need all the parts but the pieces we did need were critical. The rig is a Jeep JK 2-door with a custom bumper, front frame chop and higher clearance towbar points and we needed to have flexibility to mount the air brake lines. We were also on a short deadline to make the annual trek to Easter Jeep Safari and flat towing behind the coach would increase fuel economy 33% over towing on a trailer. The pieces were all familiar to me as we have this same setup in another rig and I knew they could be relied on to work with our RoadMaster braking system. etrailer got them to us quickly and we fabbed up the needed system in time to get out of town. A year later and it still works well. My only suggestion is a longer lasting rubber cover and possibly one for the interior fitting for use in a dirty/dusty environment. A very minor wish, the system is well thought out otherwise and does the job.

This secondary kit lit up my even brake unit. It worked perfectly.. I wired directly to battery.

Had no idea it wouldn’t work with an active breaking system. So now I’m out $[XXX] for the ICS transmitter breakaway switch and all the wiring sucks.
