Rhino-Rack Roof Mounted Steel Cargo Basket - 47" Long x 35" Wide - 165 lbs
The rack was exactly as described. I am very satisfied with the fit, usage, and look of the rack. I highly recommend this product. Note: The mounting hardware is pretty long. Because my stock 4runner cross bars are thinner, the mounting hardware had the potential to come into contact with my paint on my roof. I solved this problem my using my dremel to shave about 1/4" off the bolts and about the same from the underside bracket. It wasn't ideal, but I made it work. I suspect because of the design of my stock roof rack, I would have had the same trouble with any product I purchased.
Quality made, lightweight, and durable cargo basket. Perfect fit for the 2019 4Runner. Fits directly on factory roof cross bars. Low profile. No noticeable noise under 50 MPH. Easy to assemble and install.

Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket - 64-1/2" Long x 39" Wide x 7-1/4" Tall - 150 lbs
The rack and extension arrived in sturdy boxes, well packed and no damage in shipping. The parts fit together easily. The welds left something to be desired, which is why I gave it only 4 stars. As a precaution against corrosion,I got some plasti-dip, which is a rubberized vinyl sealant and sealed all the places where moisture could get into the various tubes of the rack. I was satisfied with the quality of the powder coating on all the parts. The mounting system to the roof rack is interesting and appears well-designed. The assembly and installation instructions are OK, but could have been written better. For example, there is an extra tightening knob for the U-bolts, but no description if it is there as a spare.
I bought this roof basket for my 5th gen 4Runner so that we could run the Trans America Trail. I looked at other baskets and this seemed to be a great deal, especially when I compared prices. Overall, I'm happy with it. There were some fit and finish issues (the holes didn't line up quite right and I had to drill them out in order to get the locking bolts through; the u-bolts that attach the basket to the rig's existing rack are WAY too long and poke holes in anything above them - easy fix with a hack saw or a bolt cutter, but really annoying). That being said, it has held up very well. 4,500 miles of off road, fully loaded, and I haven't had an issue. I continue to use it for trips. Overall, I would recommend this to other people.

Rhino-Rack Roof Mounted Steel Cargo Basket - 57" Long x 42" Wide - 165 lbs
It is a mixed bag. I'll start with it did NOT fit on a my 2021 4runner with factory rails and crossbars. But the rack is not going back, I'll buy new rails and try it out. The assembly went smooth enough, though the rubber sleeves between the two pieces are difficult to maneuver and I actually have a partial tear in one. Also, I was missing one rubber spacer and one nut to attach the fairing. I got a nut from [home improvement store] and will have to go back for the rubber spacer. That is kind of a big deal but not a killer. The killer is 1) the bottom of the mounting hardware will not fit under the crossbar without rubbing the roof. At some points it won't fit at all. 2) When resting on the crossbars (which have an arc to them, the center bars running front to back on the basket rest touching the bar which prevent the mounting rails (the double rails on the left and right of the basket running from front to back) cannot rack the mounting hardware. 3) even if they did reach, the basket touches the factory rail covers. There are two possible solutions: 1) find hardware that has a smaller bottom plate (or break out the dremel) and create some shims above the mount to reach the basket and lift it off of the rail covers. or 2) get new crossbars that are a little higher and flatter. The problem with option 1 is I don't know how reliable that would be and how good it would look. The problem with option 2 is the cost of the basket (~$[XX]) plus new crossbars ($[XX]-[XX]) I could have ordered a complete new rack system like Victory, Prinsu or LFD.
Hey! So I actually recieved this product and it was damaged during shipping. I will attach images below but I was hoping to see if there was some kind of compensation that can be made due to the damages seeing as this is the second time I've ordered a roof rack that was damaged. The product is still usable but one of the bars in warped and dinged so I will have to fix that and seal the metal to prevent rust. Please let me know if anything can be done in this situation.
