These should come with the screws to mount on RV. I bought them to add strength to the ladder rather than replace supports. I mounted the ladder and used two extra support pegs to strengthen my ladder around where the bike rack attaches. Went well.

I received the ladder 8535 in good shape and a day early. I had to use the full ladder with no cuts and with hinges to give me the EXACT length required. This resulted in a 30 inch space in the very middle of the ladder. Stromberg-Carlson sent a universal rung to fit there. With my own materials I added a rung at the very bottom on the bend. I added hose clamps under each rung for added support. It all turned out looking GOODprofessional and solid. JFS

Have been looking for these insert nuts for quite sometime to repair my boat windshield support mounts. Even specialized fastener companies were not familiar this item. I just so happened to come across these insert nuts for RV ladders and stand-off mounts! I thought a tube is a tube, whether it be on a boat or RV, and I was right. I ordered 4 of them so that I could go ahead and replace all of the old ones before they completely fail, as they are about to. Here is the first one done. The only negative issue I had was that one of the rings fell off of each of the nuts as they were being inserted into the tube. One was the bottom one and the other was the top. However, the one ring seems to be holding fine right now. I included some pictures to include the model of the windshield mount in the event others are having a similar issue.
