Great service. My questions were promptly answered as which wiring kit would fit my 2004 grand Cherokee without having to fabricate wire connectors and such. They gave me several options and explained the differences between them. It made my decision easier . I received my kit sooner than i expected. I haven't installed them yet, because I still have to put the hitch on, but I am sure it will be basically a plug and play deal. I would recommend etrailer to everyone just in the service alone. Ordered on a Sunday, arrived on a Thursday. Fit my Jeep Grand Cherokee like a charm. Easy to install. I just welded the bracket to my hitch.

Perfect . My new Subaru hitch has a flat plate to which the dealership attaché the 4-flat. I used “2 L-brackets” to accommodate the 90 degree bend of the adapter bracket.

This product was easy to install and the video was extremely helpful as well. We have had no problems at all.

I had a 2 inch trailer hitch and 4 pole flat wire harness professionally installed on my 2001 Dodge Ram Pickup. When I bought my boat the trailer was wired for a 5 pole flat harness. Took my truck back to the installer to have the harness exchanged and was told that there was no 5 pole flat harness made for my 2001 truck. I asked about splicing a 5 pole flat harness to the 4 pole flat harness and was told by the installer that they don't do splicing and because the 4 pole harness was already installed I couldn't get a refund. So the search was on to fix this problem. Stumbled upon the etrailer E-commerce site and found what I was looking for. A 4 pole flat to 5 pole flat adapter. The price was right, the service was 5 Star and I received the adapter in 4 days which was perfect. I had time to install it, and get my boat on the water that weekend. Thanks George J. I received this product the other day and went to work installing it on my 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. This was done outdoors on a sunny 90 plus degree day on [the driveway]. Prior to buying I had read the online instructions and, more importantly, watched an installation video. The video was a huge help and the kit was very easy to install. The snap splice connectors work like a charm. I used extra zip ties I had to secure the power line in place as I routed it down the passenger side of the Jeep. Hook up to the battery terminal was easy. I did not have a circuit tester to check the individual wires to ID their function but since their colors exactly matched the video, I decided to take my chances. It worked out great. Installation of the power wire would be easier on a lift but I don’t have one installed in my driveway so it entailed crawling under the

I've had this in use for over a year and they don't build them like they use to. I use this on a gooseneck trailer and the piece of plastic behind the spade connector for the clearance lights and brakes has melted, allowing the spade connector to lose contact with the plug on the pickup. So the lights would cut off in the middle of the night and would have to wiggle the connection till I could fix it. I have an older Hopkins plug and never had this problem. To fix the problem I ended up putting pieces of thin copper wire behind the spade and have done it twice since the plastic melted a 2nd time and once again the trailer clearance lights would quit working. Attached are before and after pictures.

I added it to my trailer, so when in camp I could have the running lights on without the truck.

Looks well made and what I like most and why I bought this one was because of the newer style plug that comes in it. I have yet to test it out but I got it wired up.

Well, my first impression of this item is it is very sturdy and will be a great addition to my trailer.

Just what I needed for my home-built bike carrier. My wife rides an e-tricycle and by the time I loaded the trike and a couple of bikes on this platform, you could not see the car's taillights or blinkers. This harness worked perfectly!

Was what I ordered, shipping was good. Spring on cover would not hold cover down. Had to take apart and bend spring.

This adapter really cleaned up the installation and connected directly to the wiring harness. Maybe added an additional 20 mins to install this adapter but totally worth the time and money.

The quality of the materials for this wire connector is very high, especially the insulation on the wires. One thing to note is the wire colors do not match the standard colors associated with this style of 7-Way plug. Definitely use a continuity tester to determine which wire goes to which blade in the plug. Other than that, this is a good product for the price.

I received a 5' cable, not a 6' one. Which really upsets me as it pretty much means I can not use the EZ Connector Pogo Trailer Cable Holder I also purchased to hold the cable up out of the way of the pivoting hitch. Other then that, the connector is molded on, so that is good.

I have now installed the following on my 2017 Wrangler: Brake light relay kit . Hopkins Towed vehicle Tail Light wiring kit. Blue Ox base plate. Blue Ox Patriot Portable RF Braking System. All of this has taken about 3 days of work spread out over a week or so. Overall it went well. Not too many surprises. Crawling around under a car at 71 is a bit of a strain but I'll get over it. I must say that Donna P. has been a wonderful source of great information and has stayed right on top of the process. eTrailer has been a great source for this project. I would recommend you all with no hesitation.

I t seemed like this was the perfect solution for connecting the 6 pole on our 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee to our two horse trailer (7 blade); but when we hooked it up the left turn signal did nothing and the right turn signal set off the flashers. Turning the flashers on in the Jeep also turned on the flashers; the running lights and brake lights worked ok. I switched some of the wires but nothing seemed to change. I'd like to put a 7 blade connector on the Jeep but can't get the existing 6 pole connector off, and even if I'm able I don't know how to tell which wire is for which function. I'm guessing the Jeep wiring is not standard? I think it's time to turn to a local shop in hopes they can get us working.

This is very heavy duty looking connector and wires. I needed one to replace the damaged one on my Demco car hauler which is built for rental market. This looks as heavy duty as the original. Which didn't break but someone let it drag on the ground and wore half the pins off.

I received the product after just a few days. I had many technical questions that were answered by a competent service person. The product arrived in great shape and I had reviewed their installation video so installation went very quickly and easy. My 2011 Chevrolet Silverado is equipped with a 7 pole connection so I bought their adapter to convert to flat 4 pole connection. That an the CR-017 led worked very with first try. I also bought the trailer hitch lock at the same time. All products are very easy to use.

The product arrived in a timely manner and undamaged. I have not used this 5 pole adapter yet, but the 4 pole adapter I previously bought from etrailer years ago is still working great. I needed the extra wire to run for multi-led lights mounted underneath the steps at the rear of my trailer, when in reverse trailering. This connector seems heavier-duty compared to many on the market and so far is still working well after a year or more. As with most products from etrailer, I haven't been let down yet. Here's a real special GOTCHA moment I had recently; My trailer jack stand, which I had purchased from my well-known and popular local trailer company to replace my original had rusted to pieces. I needed a replacement quickly and trusted I'd get a decent product and price as had been the norm over many years. Anyway, I purchased the new jack and wheel and brought them home to install myself. Upon taking the jack out of the bag it came in, I noticed a sticker from etrailer, yea. Before installing I went online, saw that my jack was less than half the cost I'd just paid, and realized I should have purchased the jack when I had originally shopped online at the start of this replacement process. I could have returned my over-priced items but decided I didn't have the time due to procrastination. I decided they could keep their extra profit on this purchase but I won't get fooled again and my local shop has lost my trust.
