Brakes work great! I used a self tapping screw to ground the brake to the trailer. This worked really well and I didn't need to run a ground wire. The studs needed a trip to the hardware store to get some 7/16 by 40 pitch (fine thread) nylock nuts. All in all a nice brake setup.

Excellent factory part. Direct replacement. Swap couldn't of been easier then removing the four nuts holding the backing plate in place and put the new one on using the old nuts. Resolder the wires and your all set.

Direct factory part replacement. Complete backing plate swap is the easiest. Spray nuts with penetrating oil. Remove four old nuts on the back and install the new plate and re-use the nuts and your all set. Solder the circuits back together and your done.

Good solid brake shoes, fit on perfectly, in fact the first problem free repair job I have tackled in months. The camper is as unusual as the photo is of Alabama weather.
