Most Popular Bike And Hitch Lock for 2013 Acura RDX

We are a retired couple, and the Swagman Chinook 2-bike rack is our first experience with a bike carrier. Assembly was easy, and fit on our 2017 Acura RDX with Class II hitch with no problem. Once the initial adjustments were made, we found it fairly easy to install and remove the bikes. Our older, heavy (35#) bikes are well within the capacity of the rack, and don't show much wiggle and bounce on paved roads and freeway speeds. Well made and functional product.

Works for my fat tire bike. Once it's set up, it's easy to install and remove. I had to cut out some of the plastic cladding on the underside of my bumper on my 2014 Subaru Outback. Good value. I've had no issues.

Works well for transporting two 29" wheeled mountain bikes. However, after one year it's starting to rust in several areas (see attached photos), and the front wheel arms are becoming increasingly difficult to raise and lower. Finally the locking cable is extremely rusty as you can see in the attached photo. I'm not sure how durable this rack will be long term.

Rack is very sturdy and heavy duty. Instructions were terrible. Locking hitch pin would not thread correctly and ended up damaging it. Thankfully the threads on rack were fine and I was able to use the non-locking threaded pin. Would like a replacement locking pin ASAP

For the price, it's a good-quality, sturdy bike rack. I have used it about 5-7 times with no issues. I only used it for one adult and two kids' bikes, but I am sure it can handle four bikes as advertised. It's great that the rack folds upwards when it's not required.
