Dodge Ram PickupAfter one year of using our swagman, we are very happy. We own RAM 1500 with ram boxes and mounted the swagman at the back end of the bed. We mounted the skewers on the bottom side of the bar, to mount the bar upside down. This let the end brackets mount perfectly on the side walls just in front of the end gate. Our bikes when mounted face the rear. Works great!

This rack fits and functions perfectly in my 2018 Ram Rebel. I have the Ram Box cargo management system and I set it up as recommended and it was great! Then I reversed it, as some other folks have done, and mounted it near the tailgate just off the bed floor. This allows me to load and unload from the ground and it keeps the bikes below the cab roof line. So wherever the truck can go the bikes can go without snagging on anything. Went out for a varied terrain test drive and it didn't budge. Package came clean and undamaged with a completely functional inventory of parts. Every part was machined properly and the lock works as well as the release button. No problems at all with anything! Just rotated the fork mounts 90 degrees for the low mounting position and it was done. Etrailer really came through on this one! I will continue to do business with this company!

The fit for a 2014 Ram was spot on, no issue with the wide style tailgate top and the access flap for the tailgate handle lined up perfectly. Material is durable and easy to clean, the only thing holding it from a 5 stars is if it had the padded dividers on top to keep the bikes separated. But for the price, the fit and finish was exceptional, great value !!!

The product review/installation video helped me make my selection. I selected the full size pad for 2001 Silverado 1500. Installs easily, fits nicely, flap in pad is positioned for easy access to tailgate latch.

The Hollywood Racks Truck Bed Bike Carrier - Fork Mount - Bolt On, is just what I was looking for to be able to build a bike rack for carrying one of my bikes on my motorcycle. It was easy to mount and it holds my bike in place while riding on bumpy dirt roads, city streets, highways and even when I hit some twisty country roads. It's really easy to load and unload my bike when I get to where I want to ride. I use a velcro strap around the quick-release and the fork arm as an added safety as well as a couple tie-downs from my bike handlebars to my motorcycle passenger pegs to help distribute the weight on my rack. If you want to build your own DIY bike rack I totally recommend the Hollywood Racks Truck Bed Bike Carrier - Fork Mount - Bolt On.

Yakima BedHead Truck Bed Bike Rack Review - 2012 Dodge Ram
Today, on our 2012 Dodge Ram 1500, well be test fitting the Yakima Locking BedHead Front Fork Bike Rack, part number Y01133.Well begin by using the rail clip and the fork block. Well bring the rail clip underneath the bedside hooking it up and around the bedside itself, then slide the fork block into position and tighten it down using the Allen wrench provided.With the fork block tightened down, well now simply inert the skewer and screw down the adjustment knob accordingly. And with our skewer within the fork block, were now ready to load our bike. Well simply undo the front wheel on our bicycle, insert the front fork into the fork block making sure that the skewer goes through the wheel mount on the fork, then well tighten down the skewer to secure the bike to the bed. And with our bike secured, were now ready to hit the road.And that completes our test fit of the Yakima BedHead, part number Y01133 on our 2012 Dodge Ram 1500.
Swagman Pick-Up Truck Bed Bike Rack Review - 2012 Dodge Ram
Today on our 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 well be test fitting the Swagman Bed Mounted 2-Bike Carrier, product number S64702. With our bike carrier preassembled, were ready to go ahead and fit it to the vehicle. Well simply bring the bike rack up into the bed, position the driver's side arm on the bed rail and extend the passenger's side arm out to contact the passenger's side bed rail. When it's snugly in place, well simply push down on the center of the bike rack which will clamp it down to the bed of the truck. With the clamp, its secured to the vehicle and were ready to load our bike. To load our bike, well simply open the skewer up, insert the front fork of the bike into the skewer and clamp it down to the bike rack itself.
