I am so pleased with the replacement pads for my running boards. I also want to thank the staff at your facility especially Meghan. She spent an enormous chunk of time sorting through the products and came up with a perfect match for me. I returned home Saturday afternoon and the package was at my front door. I immediately opened the package and installed the replacement running board step pads . Thanks again for your expert advice and help .
Product arrived quickly however during install the step guard cracked when I used a rubber mallet to try and pound it flush also at least one of the pegs bent. It was not clear to me from the instructions do I place the brackets on the pegs first or in the step holes then place the step guard into the brackets already in the holes. I put the brackets on the pegs first and it did not work. Well.

Replacement Barrel Clip for Westin Platinum Series and Signature Series Round Nerf Bars - Qty 1
The replacement step pads and barrel clips worked perfectly in my Westin Nerf Bars.
The barrel clips aren't strong enough to keep the rubber pads locked in place on the nerf bars. It could be that the rubber pads are too stiff; possibly use a softer rubber. It could also be that the clips should be made of a stronger metal. It doesn't pay to run a vehicle through a car wash because the car wash material somehow grabs the rubber pads and starts to pull them out of the nerf bars.
