Speaker 1: Today we're gonna take a look at the BMW custom mounting brackets for the Patriot fifth wheel above bed base rails. Now this is a custom fit part, it is designed to fit the 2017 and newer Ford F250 and F350 trucks and on a custom fit part, I always like to recommend for you to go to our website. Use our fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle and it'll show you if this part will work for your application. Now these are installation brackets that will mount beneath your truck bed and they provide the attachment points for your fifth rails. The base rails is what'll sit in your truck bed and they allow installation of the fifth wheel trailer hitch to your vehicle. Now that base rails, we do sell separately on our website.
They are part number BWRBR3210. Now these brackets here, they are custom fit brackets; they're designed to mount to existing holes in your vehicle's frame. So there's no drilling required. And the brackets are even marked for what side they go on, this one has a D for drivers side. This one's got a P for passengers side.These will drastically reduce the installation time and they even avoid known obstacles along your truck's frame.
They are a sturdy, powder coated steel, helps resist corrosion. Does come with everything here on the table, comes with all the mounting hardware you need, comes even with a nice hardwood tool to help on the installation. And if you notice, it also comes with this roll of polypropylene tape. And the reason the tape is included, because on the installation of these frame brackets, the spacers and the base rails, you want to put the tape on it to prevent galvanic corrosion between the Ford aluminum body of the bed and the steel components of this kit. Does even come with a nice set of detailed instructions that'll describe all that.
And these parts are made in the USA. But that should do it for the review on the BMW custom mounting brackets for the Patriot fifth wheel above bed base rails.
Wish everyone had customer service like this company! Ordered the wrong mount so I sent them and email they told me to give them a call. Sent me the return paperwork and had the right mount on the way in less than 5 minutes!!
This rail system is awesome. I was able to put it in the truck about an hour and 20 minutes worked perfectly. The instructions were clearly labeled and easy to follow. Thanks to Britt’s help at the trailer. We’re able to get the hitch replacement fit like a glove thanks for all your help

There were a number of problems that could have been easy fixed. The 1/2 moon washers are a joke. They should have welded them to the brackets that fasten to the frame. Full round ones should have been supplied for the middle bolts under bed rails.
