GSP offers 4 types of CV axles based on your vehicle and riding habits. The OE+ model is an affordable OEM replacement with neoprene boots. The Heavy Duty (HD) axle has a stronger shaft and TPEE boots that are better than OEM axles. The Xtreem Duty (XD) is 30% stronger than OEM axles and includes a thicker shaft for riding hard and racing. The XD is often used on lifted vehicles. The Xtended axle is a specialty product for those with long travel suspensions. It includes the same quality features of the HD axle but is longer to accomodate different builds.

Hello neighbors. Steven here with etrailer.com. Folks, today we're looking at our GSP heavy duty CD axle Assembly specifically for the rear. Now folks, this is a custom fit application. Make sure you're double checking etrailer.com's fit guide. It looks like this specifically fits an '05 through 2023 Honda TRX 650.
And again, the rear, either the left or the right hand assembly, whichever one you're needing it for. But again, double check that fit guide. I also want to throw up a direct replacement for graphic here. As far as what other brands part numbers, this replaces as well. So if you have one of those other part numbers there on the screen from a different brand, this will replace them.
This honestly is probably a lot better quality as far as durability, you know, the way it's made, the type of metal and everything, and the boots, everything. So just keep that in mind. Now this is made of a hardened steel alloy, specifically a 40 CRXC. It's heavy duty hardened steel. It's built to resist wear and tear.
As I said before, it fits both the rear, left or right, whichever one you need it for. The boots again, are a nice oversized CD joint to let you climb through rough terrain and crawl over obstacles. It is flexible and tough because they are a TPEE boot material, so they're gonna resist tearing and cracking and it comes preassembled outta the box just like you see here. They even give you the castle nut, the washers, that kind of stuff. And as far as an extended length, like you see here, 21.69 inches.
If it's compressed, it goes down to 20.67 inches. It's already been pre-packed with the high performance molly grease. That's also gonna reduce friction and everything as well. Now you have two different styles of joint. On the inboard you have what's called a double offset joint and the spline quantity is 22. And on the outboard you have a standard ball style joint and the quantity of the spline is 24. This is a 23 millimeter shaft and it has a nice one year warranty from GSP.
