Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this PullRite ISRX SuperLite fifth wheel hitch for your industry standard rails. Now this fifth wheel hitch is going to drop into your industry standard rails that you already have in the bed of your truck so you can tow your fifth wheel trailer. And so this is gonna be very easy to install. You'll get this inserted into your industry standard rails in the bed of your truck, and then it's just going to pin and clip into place with the included pins and clips. Now PullRite's ISRX line of hitches are uniquely designed to give you more options, so if you prefer a different coupling method down the road than the one that we're gonna be talking about today, this is gonna give you the ability to swap this funnel out without the cost of buying a whole new hitch.

For instance, you could swap out this included funnel head for a more traditional PullRite Super fifth wheel head identified by the model number that you see there on your screen without investing in an all new hitch. So this head is gonna be very easy to remove just by removing the pin and clip. And then you can place this one in instead if you want to go the more traditional route. So that's a really nice benefit. This is gonna be something that's future proof, if you will, so you're not gonna be locked into this coupling method if you wanna move on to the more traditional way to couple.

Now this is made here in the USA from high quality American steel. It does feature a black powder coat finish. It's gonna do a great job of resisting rust and corrosion. This is SAE J2638 tested to a gross towing weight of 24,000 pounds with a vertical load limit of 6,000 pounds. But this is also one of the lightest 24K hitches that's on the market today.

This ISRX hitch is relatively lightweight. It weighs about 79 pounds. I needed my partner to stand here on the other side to lift it onto the table here, but it wasn't overly heavy or anything like that. It was pretty easy to get this on my table. So this does feature a unique two piece design that's going to allow for fast and easy coupling.

This coupler is going to bolt around your trailer's king pin. Let me see if I can bring this up here a little bit closer. So this is going to bolt around your trailer's king pin to create a new connection point. So this is gonna be very easy to get this bolted onto your king pin. And then this is going to. And this open funnel here on the hitch head's gonna make it very easy to guide that ball in. So I'm gonna go ahead and open this up here. So I'm just gonna take this latch and pull it open just like that so it's ready to receive that ball. And then all you have to do is that funnel's gonna make it very easy to just guide that ball in just like that. And then when you're ready to connect this or secure it, you'll just turn that back into place. So as you can see, that ball is going to be firmly in place in that funnel. So this is gonna be very easy to see from your cab when you're hooking this up. And then this also includes this release latch. I'm sorry, it's a remote latch handle rather, that's designed to reach the release latch from a lower tailgate. So you can use that end for instance and just slide that open, give it a turn, so you're not gonna have to climb into the bed of your truck. And then you're just gonna be able to uncouple just like that. So the benefit of having something like this is this is going to give you enough rear word offset to be probably the second best solution for a short bed truck, which the best solution obviously would be a slider hitch. But the SuperLite combined with its SuperLite king pin adapter is gonna give you an additional 7 1/2 inches of rear word offset. And these plates here that hold the funnel into place can be swapped around 180 degrees to give you additional rear word offset if you need that. So this is gonna give you up to an additional 7 1/2 inches of rear word offset. So again, it's a great feature of this particular hitch. Now I wanna give you a closeup here on the side angle here just to show you that it's gonna be very easy to get the vertical height adjustment that you need as well. I think I have this at the lowest setting right now. So if I need to raise this up, I'm just gonna remove the clip and the pin here, and then I'm just gonna be able to slide this up. As you can see, we have three positions here on the funnel. So I'll set it at the tallest setting there. And just slide that pin and clip back into place. So you're gonna get a vertical height adjustment from about 16 3/4 inches up to 18 3/4 inches to allow you to make your fifth wheel as level as possible. Again, very easy to do. And so your truck does not have to be dedicated to just hauling your fifth wheel trailer and nothing else. Again, this hitch is gonna be so lightweight that it's not gonna be a big deal at all to take it out for a weekend when you need to use your truck bed for a project or haul or something like that.
