This kit is custom designed for your vehicle so that there is as little drilling, second-guessing, and installing as possible. The mounting brackets install beneath the truck bed to provide attachment points for the above-bed base rails. Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look together at this Pullrite custom installation kit with base rails for your fifth wheel trailer hitch. Now this is custom designed to fit your 2014 and newer RAM 2500 with the eight foot bed without the OEM prep package. And on custom fit parts such as this kit, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com. Simply input the year, make, and model of your vehicle and our fit guide will confirm if this will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you. Now this kit is designed for your truck so that there's gonna be as little drilling, second guessing and installing as possible the mounting brackets, and as you can see, I do kind of have this loosely put together.
The mounting brackets are going to install beneath the bed of your truck to provide attachment points for the above bed base rails. And then these base rails are going to provide the necessary mounting points for your fifth wheel trailer hitch. Now this does have a gross towing weight of 24,000 pounds and this really does have broad compatibility. It's gonna be compatible obviously with Pullrite's since this is Pullrite, but also brands such as B&W, Patriot, Curt, Demco, Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, Husky, Reese above bed fifth wheel Hitches. So just name a few companies, but this is gonna have a broad range of compatibility.
These are industry standard rails. So these are gonna be black powder coated steel. You're gonna get all the necessary hardware to get this installed into place along with installation instructions to guide you through that installation process.
