How to Find Replacement Cover for Extang Soft Tonneau Cover on Dodge Dakota

Question:
Hello! I have a 2005 Dodge Dakota ST crew cab short bed two-wheel drive pickup truck. It has an ExTang soft tonneau cover that is showing its age and needs replaced. I cannot find a part number on the cover itself. I do know that to put the cover on the rails you have to remove the rail from the front of the bed closest to the cab of the truck and slide the cover into the channel then stretch it over the other rails for it to lock into place. I am unsure if I can get a replacement cover for this real system or not. Is someone possibly able to help steer me in the right direction? Thank you for your time.

Hey Josh,
I can absolutely help you, but it's going to difficult to pin point the exact cover model without a number of some sort. These can be kind of an adventure to find. In our experience, they tend to be located on the driver's side front rail, maybe underneath the actual tarp on the rail). If you can find that and reply with the numbers on there, I can definitely get you the right replacement cover.

I also have a 2005 dodge Dakota and need an extang cover. I see no marking but the rail has paint that says 765 on each rail
