What is Amp Draw of Vitrifrigo Mini Fridge

Question:
I am looking at converting my Lance truck camper from the original propane/12v/120v refrigerator to this Vitrifrigo 3.2 12v unit. I have no problem upgrading the 12/ wiring to a larger gauge. I am concerned about only having one group27 12v battery in my camper. Larger RVs have multiple coach batteries that would be nice, but this truck camper has no room for multiple batteries. I do have a solar panel that may help. any input? Thank you,

Hey Keith, the Vitrifrigo C85i RV Mini Fridge with Built-In Freezer # VT34FR that you referenced doesn't have a big amp draw so I think it would work just fine for you. It only pulls 3.38 amps at 12 volts your battery and solar setup would have no problem with it. Are you wanting to get away from propane because you are tired of filling tanks?

Jameson, Yes…the propane is an issue, since my truck camper has a small tank. My current (old) refrigerator has been finicky and unreliable . Thank you for your guidance and information. Keith
