Question:

The installer says I need a normally open door switch to complete the installation. My order number is XXX. Do you stock this part ?

The correct switch kit for steps is found as part # LC369311 and comes with the door sensor as well as a rocker switch for manual operation.

could you send me the installation instructions to this switch. My steps are stuck out now and I have removed the factory door switch and touch the wires together with no result.

@Bob It doesn't look like Lippert has the instructions readily available in digital form so I unfortunately don't have a way to send instructions to you. If the wires from your switch aren't activating the steps then it sounds like you either have a wiring or power issue that needs to be addressed. Try checking the wires to make sure nothing is damaged or shorted out, and also check your power wire with a tester to make sure there is power present on that wire.
