Hi Jim,
If your Fogatti RV Tankless Water Heater # LSB64FR is turning on but not sensing when water is passing through then you could either have a bad water flow sensor or there's the possibility that you have a shut off valve somewhere leading to the unit that could be turned off. A lot of RV's will install quarter-turn valves to separate the water heater from the rest of the plumbing so that they can run anti-freeze through the lines for winter. I recommend checking that your unit is getting water and that it getting a full 12 volts at the unit with a multimeter # PT89ZR.
You'll also want to ensure that the unit is receiving enough propane to heat the water. This could mean that the tank is empty or closed or that your regulator is clogged or in need of replacement. You'll want to have a qualified technician check the gas pressure with a manometer to confirm.
If you want to send me a picture of what the controller is showing I'd be happy to take a look as well.

Error code E1 and sometimes E6. Fresh out the box it works well only sometimes and it usually overheats the water well passed the temp setting and then just shuts off right away with code E1. If You keep trying it will shut off and go to code E6. *I personally believe the water temp sensors are bad and not sending the heat too keep the flame in check. But I'd love to hear a pros opinion on this issue. Please and Thank You.
