Ah yes, the ol' stinky RV toilet, this is certainly not an uncommon issue. Your best bet will be to use a cleaner/treatment for your toilet and sewer system. I recommend the Dometic 3-in-1 RV Toilet Bowl Cleaner and Black Water Tank Treatment Packs # DOM82FR. This will help to keep the toilet clean, break down waste and eliminate odor in your black water tank and sewer system. It is important to note that this should not be used with any other RV sewer treatment or solution.
Bad odor can also mean your toilets gaskets are failing. Replacing the Gasket between the floor and toilet, and the flush gasket should also help to control odor.
