Question:

I have a 2024 GMC 3500 cab and chassis truck. I am looking for a set of rear air-ride bags and want to know if I need a specific set that fits a cab and chassis truck or will and set that fits a regular bed truck work. Thanks.

You need a specific kind that is designed for the cab and chassis 3500's. I recommend the Firestone Ride-Rite Red Label Extreme Duty Air Helper Springs item # F56FV. These air bags have a 7,500 lbs load leveling capacity. They will keep your rear end from squatting under a heavy load. The custom fit brackets will bolt directly to your 2024 GMC Sierra 3500 without having to drill into your new truck. These fit both the 2WD and 4WD models.

As of 10/01/2023 the Firestone item # F56FV are the only air bags that fit a 2024 Sierra 3500 cab and chassis.

I also recommend adding the Firestone Air Command item # F39VV to your truck. This onboard compressor will allow you to adjust the PSI in your air bags individually from your phone.

The Firestone item # F2709 you were looking at only fit the standard 2024 GMC Sierra 3500's not the cab and chassis models.
