Performance Tuner Recommendation For Ford F-250 Pickup Truck With 6.2L Engine

Question:

I am interested in this tunner/programmer for my 2011 f250 with 6.2 engine but i have questions. I am swoping the rear end from a 3.73 to a 4.30 ratio and i am wanting to know if the programmer will allow me to recalibrate the speedometer based on gear ratio? That is the main reason for the purchase of this product. I have read the product info on several sites most say you can not recalabrate the speedometer for a change in tire size or gear ratio but your site says it can be adjusted, i just want to make sure rear end ratio can be accounted for in order to recalabrate my speedometer. The super chip web site just says speeometer can be calibrated and is vauge. Thanks for your time.

I have a solution for you. I spoke to my contact at Edge Technologies and they told me that the Edge EvoHT2 Hand-Held Performance Tuner, part # EP16040, does have the ability to recalibrate the speedometer based on both tire sizes or read end ratio. They said you have to enter the custom menu when using the tuner and it will allow you to change the settings to match what you have on your truck.
