can i combine flow through sensors on the and cap on my tow vehicle and are steel valve stems required on the cap type sensors?

Flow-through sensors tend to be a bit heavier and can cause rubber valve stems to fail over time so it's recommended to use steel, chrome, or nickel valve stems with these types of sensors.
