Dimensions Of The Valterra Deadbolt Lock for RVs # L32CS3008 Throw Bolt
Question:
I would like to use this lock to replace the non-keyed dead bolt on my 61 airstream. I believe the door is of appropriate thickness and the existing placement will work with this replacement lock but Id like to know the exact measurements of the bolt itself in all dimensions, height width and throw length. The existing bolt in the locked position protrudes only 3/8th inch. thank you.

The throw bolt for the Valterra Deadbolt Lock for RVs # L32CS3008 is 1/2" wide x 3/4" tall x 5/8" long. Typically there's quite a bit of space in the door frame to allow for an additional 1/4" length of this throw bolt versus the one you currently have.
