Question:

I had bought a Curt trailer to fit our 2012 Honda Odyssey EX-L last year. I dont know the exact model. We are buying a 2020 Honda Odyssey EX-L and wanted to see if the hitch would fit on the newer body style. Thank you

All of the hitches for the 2012 Honda Odyssey only fit models up through 2017. Unfortunately, this means you will need a new hitch for your 2020 Honda Odyssey EX-L.

I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76170. The reason I would choose this over the other options is the concealed cross tube. This gives it more of a clean look once installed, and also gives you better clearance since only the receiver is hanging down at the back.

If you plan on towing, the best choice for wiring is the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118781. This plugs directly into the connection point in your rear cargo area and will provide you with a 4-way to power your trailer's signal lights.
