How Resistant to Rust Are the Westin PRO TRAXX Stainless Steel Nerf Bars for a 2016 Toyota Tundra
Question:
The OE step bars on my 2016 Tundra started rusting within 2 years of purchasing the truck. How do I know these wont do the same? Whats the warranty?

The Westin PRO TRAXX Oval Nerf Bars # 21-23240 for your 2016 Toyota Tundra have a stainless steel construction so the steps themselves will be really resistant to corrosion as stainless isn't supposed to rust. The one part you'll need to note though is that the hardware will be regular steel.
These have a lifetime warranty so any manufacturing defects will be covered but it's worth noting that I've never heard of rust being covered under warranty before. If you live in a place that is really prone to salt (like near the ocean or where they put a lot of salt on the roads during winter) then you'll want to be sure to spray off the mounting hardware periodically to wash that salt off.
