Does The BAK Revolver X2 Tonneau Cover Sit Below The Bed Rails When Rolled Up?

Question:

I have a 2019 chevy 3500 dually with slip tank in the back and pump . My question is how much below top of bed rail does the revolver roll up need. I want a roll up and don’t want soft tarp.I will have to do some changes to lower the pump once I find out the information. Also 8 ft box

I spoke with BAK, and they said when the BAK Revolver X2 Hard Tonneau Cover # BAK39122 is rolled up, the only thing that will sit below the bed rails is the mounting rails, which will sit 1-1/2" to 2" below the bed rails and will run the entire length of the truck bed.

The actual tonneau cover will sit above the bed rails when rolled up, so you will not have any issue with that interfering with your slip tank.
