are these fender flares hard to install? not exactly mechanically inclined, and i don't have a lot of tools either.

The Westin Front Tube Fenders For Jeep # 62-1025 are not hard to install at all. These fenders offer a simple, no-drill installation, and will simply bolt onto your Jeep. All the needed hardware is included with these fenders.
You will need a 10mm socket/wrench, a 13mm socket/wrench, a ratchet, a heat gun # PT67FR, a utility knife # PT92ZR, and a torque wrench # PT87ZR.
