Question:
In your video tire chains XG12 Pro - Size 240 #TH01594240 are being installed on a 2018 Ford Escape with tire size 235/55-17. Your specs say the chains require a 12mm clearance. The manual for the 2018 Escape says there is a 10mm clearance requirement. Can you confirm that the chains will have enough clearance with the 2018 escape?

The only actual tire chain option we offer for a 2019 Ford Escape with 235/55-17 tires that meets the 10mm requirement of the owner's manual is the Konig Self-Tensioning, Low-Pro Snow Tire Chains part # th04115240. The Konig Self-Tensioning Chains have an automatic self-tightening mechanism so you don't have to worry about the chains coming loose, an easy to use step for faster install/removal, and nylon bumpers to protect your wheels.
If you're simply looking to have a set of "chains" in the vehicle for legal purposes then you can go with the Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains part # PW2029C but these won't preform nearly as well as the Konig Self-Tensioning Chains.
