Is It Possible To Just Play Outdoor Speakers with Furrion DV3100, Zones
Question:
Is It Possible To Just Play Outdoor Speakers with Furrion DV3100, Zones

I spoke with my contact at Furrion and they correctly stated that they only make the radios they don't install them in the coaches. This IS a two-zone radio, but that feature only works if connected correctly to two zones of speakers on the coach. He suggested trying the zone button on the face of the radio, and the zone feature in the display menus of the radio. Failing this, try experimenting with the balance and fade features to see if those affect the volume in each of the two zones.
You may have to take a look at the wiring schematic for the radio (see link on product page) and compare that to how the speaker wires in the coach are connected. I know this can be frustrating. My trailer radio would only play both zones on, so I finally installed manaul switches on the speaker wires to turn off unwanted zones off.
If you find that your stereo is defective and must be replaced, please know that the DV3100 is no longer avaiable. The replacement radio (in single DIN size, like the DV3100) is the Furrion # DV3300SBL multimedia system. While it fits a single DIN opening it does have a larger face.
