Where Do the 2 White Freeze Wires Go When Swapping Coleman for Furrion Chill AC

Updated 07/14/2025 | Published 01/20/2021

Question:

I just replaced my Coleman Mach with the Furrion Chill 15,000. What happens to the 2 white Freeze wires that are connected directly to the old Coleman Mach? Thanks

Expert Reply:

In regards to installing the Furrion Chill Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Coleman Setup part # FR42PV, there should be two white wires on the power unit for the old unit which are labeled as freeze cords. These will go to temperature probes on the new unit which you can see in the attached photo.

@Mike I will need to know exactly what model Coleman air conditioner you have to verify the location for the freeze sensor on the AC coil. The model information is going to be located on a tag under the AC shroud on the roof.
