Recommended Winch Wiring Kit for ATV with Quick Disconnects

Question:
Hi, I want to install quick connects between my ATV battery and the winch remote control wired. Per the specs, the winch draws 120 AMPS max. What amps quick connect do I need 50, 120, 170?. Also, what size wire should I use between the battery and the quick connector about 3 feet long? Thanks

The Bulldog Winch Wiring Kit for ATV/UTV Winches part # BDW20305 is the perfect option for connecting a winch to the battery on an ATV and it has the quick connectors which allow you to easily remove and reinstall the winch. This kits uses 6 gauge wire which will be perfect.
The smallest size wire that can be used for 120 amps at 3' is 8 gauge but 6 gauge would be better and allow for more room for error.
