Correct Tire Size for 1994 Cobra Flagstaff Pop-Up Camper
Question:
I recently purchased a 1994 Flagstaff by Cobra pop up camper. It came with two different sized wheels and tires on it (one of them says 570-8, other says 4.80-12) and there are no markings on the camper plate to tell what size is correct. Can you tell me what size wheel and tire I need also reckoned a tire for speeds of 70mph on the highway?

Since you already have different sized wheels and tires installed on your vehicle, you can simply choose one size that will work for your trailer and replace your existing wheels and tires. To do that, you need to consider the gross trailer weight of your camper and choose tires based on that.
Between the two tire sizes you already have installed, the highest rated size is a 5.70-8 Load Range D which is rated for 1,075 lbs at 100 psi. If this works for your camper weight, I recommend the Kenda # AM30155. These are Load Range D tires for a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern and are rated for a maximum speed of 65 mph. This is the maximum speed rating for tires in this size.
