Do Edges of Solera Awning Fabric Rollers Have Tendency to Fray or Tear
Updated 09/15/2020 | Published 09/11/2020 >
Question:
I was surprised to see my new awning material did not have a sewn edge on the sides like my old awning material did. Is this a concern. It seems to me that this would lend itself to taring of the fabric material in the wind.

The Solera awning fabric setups like the part # LCV000211492 might be a slightly different design than what you have now but this type of fabric is very reliable and we've had great experiences with our customers who have used them. There's been no reported issues with the fabric fraying or tearing.
