To tow a trailer that uses a lighting system that has the turn signal and brake lights combined on the same circuit with a vehicle that has the two circuits separated (like your motorhome), you would need a tail light converter like part # 119178KIT. The wires on the input side of the converter would tap into existing tail light wiring as follows:

Green wire on converter taps into right turn circuit
Yellow wire on converter taps into left turn circuit
Brown wire on converter taps into running light circuit
Red wire on converter taps into brake light circuit

The # 119178KIT is for a light duty application for trailers with a minimum of lighting such as a total of 2 stop/turn signal/running lamps on the trailer. If your trailer lighting is more extensive, with multiple side clearance and marker lights, you would need a heavier duty option like part # 119250KIT which would draw its power directly from the motorhome battery.

The Curt # C56126 you mentioned is a vehicle specific option that will only fit a Hyundai Elantra. You would need a hardwired universal type converter like those I mentioned above.
