Question:
I have an old karrite voyager cargo box. The u-bolt 3 are not big enough for my aeroblade edge bar. Do you think it would be safe to buy u-bolt to attach the rack on the bar? Or should I buy bigger u-bolt 4 and make a new hole in the cargo box? The steel backing plate are large enough for 4. I found TH02943

The best option we can offer to help you reuse an old Karrite Voyager Cargo Box would be a new set of u-bolts which would require drilling a few holes, the Replacement Mounting Hardware for Roof Cargo Box part # CTC-18PARTS is what most people use.
Unfortunately, most cargo boxes don't mount using t-bolts so I do not recommend this.
