Question:
Dear etrailer Expert, I acquired an M416 trailer and am servicing the hubs replacing the bearings and races. I realized that my 2018 Wrangle JL take offs dont fit the hub even though the M416 almost has the same bolt pattern. I am looking for adapters that would allow me to put my 2018 Wrangler JL take offs onto the M416 trailer. I apologize if I am not making any sense. I am very novice at this and this is my very first attempt in restoration of a military trailer. Sincerely,

The 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL has wheels which use a 5 on 5" bolt pattern. Therefore, in order to transfer these wheels to a trailer you'll need to obtain hubs with this bolt pattern. I do have options for this but they are only available for 3,500 lbs axles.
The majority of military trailers don't use these standard axles so the only way to really install the wheels you want is with a new axle, the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension part # ASR1THDS01 which also has the needed clearance for Jeep wheels/tires. This system can then be used with the Trailer Idler Hub Assembly part # AKIHUB-550-35-EZ-K.
If you need to add brakes instead just let me know.
