Can I mount a Westin HDX Grill Guard on a 2016 Silverado 2500hd that was on a 2016 Silverado 1500 by buying a different mounting brackets and bolt kit ? The mounting brackets are for a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

I'm glad you asked because the Westin HDX Grille Guard for a 2016 Chevy Silverado 1500 cannot be put on a Chevy Silverado 2500. The dimensions are not the same, so if you wanted to put on one of these grille guards you would need to get a new guard, which also comes with its own mounting hardware.
