What Setting Do I Use for the Thule Gateway Pro 2 on a 2017 BMW X1

Question:

I received the subject bike rack today from etrailer and went to the Thule web site to see what setting to use and it didnt show anything. My vehicle is a 2017 BMW X1 Can you please help Thanks

I can help you with that. On the Thule Gateway Pro 2 # TH88VR you'll want to use setting 9 on the dial to get the arms of the Gateway Pro 2 into the correct positioning for your 2017 BMW X1.

How does the rack hold a step-thru frame?

For step-thru frames you'll just need to add an adapter bar like the Kuat # UB01. This will attach to the bike's seat post tube and handlebar stem to create a horizontal attachment point for the rack.

Same issue - 2023 Audi A4. BUT I may want to use it on other cars - can someone please just post the setting list since the Thule website does not have it ANYWHERE! June 20, 2024

@Greg I checked with Thule and yeah this rack does fit your vehicle but they stopped listing fit dial settings for vehicles so you'd just need to find a setting that fits the vehicle well and go with it using your best judgment.
