Question:
I have 2 6v 235 AH connected in series and I added a 12v 105AH for little extra power. Hooked the 12v battery in parallel to the 6 volt series set up. Will that hurt the 12v battery? thanks

Expert Reply:
No, connecting your 12V battery in parallel to your 6V batteries that are connected in series will not hurt it. Since everything will be rated for 12V you will be good to go!
If this is on a trailer and you don't already have a way to charge the batteries then I highly recommend using the Redarc In-Vehicle BCDC Battery Charger # 331-BCDC1225D which also allows you to connect a solar panel like # 34273836 to help with the charging.
