Wiring Harness for a 2006 Dodge Durango
Question:
I am trying to locate the tail light wiring on my 2006 dodge durango. I am trying to avoid going behind the tail light with my universal harness for my trailer. My old truck had a harness under the rear end that i just took apart and put in the T type adapter. I can find nothing under the rear of the durango in order to quick splice to. Can you help me?

The available wiring harness for your vehicle, item # 118390 connects inline with plugs behind the taillights and you will need to run a hot lead to the battery.
The power wire is needed to protect the vehicles sensitive circuitry. The trailer lights will be powered by the vehicle battery but will get the signals from the vehicle turn, brake and tail light functions.
