Installation of WeatherTech Side Window Wind Deflector for 2018 RAM ProMaster
Published 01/16/2019 >
Question:
We received our deflectors yesterday. We have installed a few of these in the past but on minivans. They were easy to install. However on a promaster it’s a challenge. There is not much room to flex the deflectors and the don’t seem to sit well at the base of the front window. As a result when you close the window the deflector pops out. The instructions from weather tech are focused on smaller sized vehicles and do not help with the install on a promaster. Do you have tricks that will help us?

The WeatherTech Side Window Air Deflectors # WT80749 for your 2018 Ram ProMaster don't have an special tricks for installation. Because you mentioned difficulty flexing the deflectors, that is most likely the issue as that tension directly inside the window channel is what hold the deflectors in place.
I've attached photos of the instructions to assist. You will want to make sure you close the windows slowly so the deflectors can adjust and further settle into the channel. After 12 hours at 60 degree or higher temps, the deflectors will be completely installed and the speed of raising and lowering your windows won't be an issue.
