Question:
Towing a travel trailer with UVW of 6800lbs. Truck takes off and pulls great and stops great, the problem is high rpms and constant up/down shifting with cruise control on at 60-65mph interstate traveling with very slight inclines. The mpg was aweful looking for increased torque, better fuel economy and lower rpms while towing. Rpms jump to 1000 higher while in towing and in tow mode. Please advise

It's hard to get great gas mileage when towing but we do have programmers that are a fit for your 2013 Chevy Silverado 1500 5.3 liter like the Edge Gas Evolution part # EP85350 which will help. This will give you an additional 20 ft lbs of torque. The additional torque means your foot won't have to go so far into the accelerator on incline changes which means less likelihood that the truck will down shift.
You'd probably see an additional 1-2 miles per gallon too.
