Question:
Hi guys. I recently bought a 1971 Fj40 frame off Resto from s Carolina. The previous owner through in a Bellview 6000 winch and I’m trying to get it to work. Don’t know anything about these. It lo Ma like it’s in good condition considering. The motor cylinder has a terminal I’m assuming it’s tge positive. There is no other terminal. The side has the clutch to engage the spool. There’s also the brake like a gasket . My question is what do I need to get to make this turn on and off? Where does the ground go? I see no other area where you can hook up a toggle switch or remote. Have pictures. Thanks in advance

The Warn Belleview 6000 winch has a neutral and pull but not a line out gear. The power wire goes to the motor and the ground wire goes to the bolt near the clutch which appears to simply be a ground to the case itself. I recommend using heavy wire like the Bulldog Winch Rear Wiring Kit - Quick Connect to Terminal End - 2 Gauge - 20' Long # BDW20206 which will also give you the quick connect option.
