Recommended Backup Camera Wiring for 2007 Toyota Tundra Customization

Question:
I have an 07 Toyota Tundra Crewman Limited and I am converting it into a Crewmax with 8 feet bed on it. My question is since I am lengthening the frame, I will be lengthening all the wires as well so, is it safe to cut the camera wire and lengthen it? Thanks.

Since you didn't reference a specific model of camera system, I assume you are extending the wiring on a factory system. I can't confirm the wiring you will need for that factory wiring, but you will be able to extend it. You may want to consider using the extension cable # RVS-881 and splicing both ends to fit your system.
