Finding the Inlet and Outlet Transmission Fluid Lines on a 2009 Chevy Avalanche
Question:
just need to know on a 09 avalanche 6sp auto which line is the intlet and or which is the outlet line from the rad

Expert Reply:
In most cases, the line from the transmission to the top of the radiator is the hot or inlet line. The lower line near the bottom will be the return line. An aftermarket cooler like # D13502 will connect inline from the OEM transmission cooler return line, into the aftermarket cooler, and then from the cooler back to the transmission.
