Question:
camera battery not charging
asked by: Bruce
Expert Reply:
If you are using the 12 volt outlet to charge the battery on Swift Hitch backup camera # SH02DIGITAL then make sure that the outlet has power when you need it to. On some vehicles the motor has to be running or the key in the ACC position.
It could also be the small fuse inside of the charging cable. It is located inside of the end that plugs into the outlet. Unscrew the collar at the tip to access the fuse. Replacement fuses for these are available at auto parts stores.
If the cable and its fuse are fine then there must be something wrong with the battery and it will need to be replaced. The replacement for camera SH02DIGITAL is # PB06.
