Does Triangle Ring Part of Bulldog Winch Combo Axle/Ratcheting Tie-Down Straps have to be Used
Updated 05/31/2017 | Published 05/28/2017 >
Question:
Can you use these straps without looping an axle or wheel, meaning simply as a ratchet strap fully extended? I wasnt sure if having the ring and triangle ring together compromised strength, etc. Thanks.

I will be happy to help. The reason that there is that triangle ring portion on the Bulldog ratcheting tie down straps # BDW20230 is so it can attach to a vehicle axle. But you can use just the hook portion to attach to something and not use the triangle ring part if needed and not suffer reduced capacity. I have linked a video featuring these straps for you.
