If it were me and I was choosing between the Bully Dog and the Edge Evolution, # EP46YR for California or # EP36YR for the other 49 states for a 2006 Dodge Ram 3500 diesel I would choose the Evolution because it offers the best view in the monitor and the touch screen makes navigation easier that manual buttons.
But if I wanted to go with something a little more simple without all of the gauge display parameters of the programmers above I would go with the Flashpaq, # SU4845 for California or # SU3845 for everywhere else. You get a lot of bang for the buck with the Flashpaq including multiple tunes and the ability to change things such as shift points and speedometer calibration. Plus it doesn't take up a lot of space, doesn't have to be permanently mounted, and costs less than programmers like the Bully Dog GT and Edge Evolution.
