Replacing Axles to Add Electric Brakes on 2008 Weekend Warrior CR3905

I have a 2008 3905cr weekend warrior and i looking to install brakes and and grease/replace axles. is there a kit i can buy? 16in rims, 3 axles.

Since you're looking at replacing the axles on the trailer, the easiest solution will be to order axles that already have electric brakes on them, or are at least already set up for electric brakes. There are a couple of things you will want to consider when ordering new axles.

Hub face to hub face measurement
Spring center to spring center measurement
Axle capacity
Wheel bolt pattern.

I've attached a diagram showing you where to measure for the hub face and spring center measurements. This information can also sometimes be found on the label located on the axle, along with the axle's weight capacity. The measurements and capacity for the new axles will need to match the existing axles. The wheel bolt pattern will help make sure the same size tires and wheels from your original axles will fit the new axles.

For example, if you found your axle's hub face to hub face to measure 89 inches, the spring center to spring center to measure 74 inches, the axle's capacity to be 3,500 pounds, and the wheel bolt pattern to be 5o n 4-1/2 inches, the Dexter Trailer Axle with Electric Brakes, # 35545E-ST-89 would be a great option and fit all of your criteria. This is essentially a kit, like you referenced, that includes the axle, hubs, and brake assemblies to add electric brakes to a trailer.
